TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS

1. This tournament will be a mixed team (2 men & 2 women) and mixed doubles competition. Women must be SAWBA-USBC members

2. A bowler may participate in the team event more than once, however, no more than two (2) players may bowl together more than once. Entries for team events will not be accepted after NOVEMBER 3, 2005.

3. A bowler may enter doubles as many times as she/he wished, but cannot cash more than once with the same partner. Entries for doubles will be accepted no later tahn thirty minutes prior to each scheduled shift, provided lanes are available. Bowlers may participate in the doubles event without bowling in the team event.

4. Handicap will be 90% from the following scratch figures:

TEAM - 840
DOUBLES - 420

5. Any bowlers or team arriving late shall begin play with the frame being bowled and receive "0" for any frames missed (Rule 322).

6. Substitutes may be used. All substitutes shall be reported to the Tournament Director or the Tournament Director's Representative one hour before the scheduled event, unless agreed to by the Tournament Director or Representative. No other line-up changes will be allowed.

7. Pacers and absentee averages will not be used.

8. All participants must be current members of SABA/SAWBA-USBC Association:

A. Bowlers will use their highest 2004-2005 Yearbook average of at least 21 games. The bowler's name should be recorded as shown on association membership card.
B. If a bowler has no 2004-2005 Yearbook average, the highest current league average as of October 1, 2005 of 9 games or more shall be used. Written verification from the league secretary must be submitted to the tournament office prior to tournament bowling.
C. All others shall bowl scratch based on an entering average of 210.

9. Rules 319a2, 319c, 319d, and 319e shall not apply. Rule 319a3 shall apply.

10. Entry fee must accompany entry form.

11. Prize fee will be returned 100% at a ratio of at least 1 to 8.

12. Participants must check in one (1) hour before scheduled squad time and must show USBC card at check-in.
